  2. One of my all time favorite albums/bands. Love the whole thing but Feels Like Love gets the nod followed very closely by the song that turned me on to them Naughty Naughty.

    Hinder

Funny. Two days ago I heard this song on the radio and frantically scratched the chorus down in my car hoping to find out who it was here. I thought it was a cool new tune; killer sound rooted in 80s hard rock with a somewhat modern vocal feel (actually wish they had a more retro sounding singer personally). Not being too familiar with Hinder, I was going to say the song sounded kinda like them and when I searched Itunes lo and behold. Musically I think this would be a perfect progression for a band looking to update their 80s sound like GNR. Just wish the vocals were better. Still dig the song though.

  5. What do you think of it? It has a Sept 16 release date here. Can't wait. In the meantime I'm listening to: Drivin N Cryin Scarred But Smarter Police Outlandos D'Amour Von Groove Chameleon
  6. Shark Island Gathering of the Faithful Butch Walker Left of Self Centered We the Kings (again)
  7. Cauterize So Far from Real Cinder Road Anberlin Never Take Friendship Personal B.O.D. Here Comes the Brides
  8. Please God..........NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your fuckin nuts man...this band is awesome and was as good as Tesla live. Backed. Unfortunately the opener is Pop Evil - at least for the St Paul show.
  9. Stone Cold. That's right. The one with Brian Bosworth. Mullets. Metal. And Komodo Dragons. Life was good back then.
  10. I take the first 3 Warrant albums. Haven't heard Belly or Ultraphobic. I keep hearing the term modern and alternative when mentioning those 2 cds. Are they anything like Jani's solo (which I think is brilliant) or just dismissable grunge?
  11. Bought the new Extreme and We the Kings.
  12. Check Yes, Juliet by We the Kings has been in my head since last Friday.
  13. Any chance they stick as openers for Tesla? Would love to see that!

    21 GUNS

I love this band. Salute is one of my all time favorite albums. I heard the songs on their myspace page and this new singer is a talent for sure but Tommy Laverdi is the man imho. Nothing's Real introduced Solli as their new vocalist but the best songs were the 4 or 5 demos included featuring Laverdi. If you like Salute pick up their Demolition cd which features demo versions of songs meant for their follow up to Salute before Tommy left. Sound quality is actually quite good considering. Just wish Tommy would come out of hiding and jump back into the genre.
  15. I can see how this album would be a huge letdown for hardcore fans and a complete waste of time to the casual fan. I'm one of those weirdos who happens to like CC's vocals so my pick would be his version of home although I way preferred everything on Sam 7 to anything from Hollyweird.
  16. From the list I go with Harem Scarem. Their debut makes my top 20 alltime list. Love the band Heaven, too. Their video for Rock School always cracked me up with Allan Fryer's pant leg ripped from cuff to crotch. Classic! Supplanting them both would be Honeymoon Suite. Surprised they weren't listed or at least mentioned yet.
