Jorn Lande is one of the best singer, a guy of great talent but I really don't understand his choices of career. Masterplan is a correct band but far from the potential of Jorn. Tell me that Ark is reforming and I'll yell hurra ! Dreams...

I have the first Cynic which is for me a real masterpiece. I have to order their latest one, but I'm afraid thay can't reach the high class of their first one... SYL and Opeth are both fantastic bands (I'm a great D. Townsend fan) Atheist : I only have Piece Of Time which is excellent Pestilence : I don't have any CD from that band...

Yes I really love Nile. Because of their 'pomp' side. The antic egyptian orchestrations and feeling, the wild brutality of the songs, the totaly insane Karl Sander's vocals...etc. I like Pestilence as well, but I prefer pomp death metal... BTW if you know cool bands in this style let them come...

Ok i'm not usually into this kind of music except for a few bands like the mighty Nile... The new Septicflesh is a pure masterpiece of Pomp Heavy Dark death music with splendid orchestrations. Songs like 'Anubis' or 'Persepolis' are true gems... Any fans here ?

I've got an advance promo CD and I'm disappointed... The first one was a total killer disc but not this new one imho. the opener is great song. The 4th one as well ('I found Love'). But, a lot of filler here... The Jimmy Barnes cover 'Walk on' is a total disaster imho compared to the original song. This disc can impress after a first play but it's getting boring after several spinning. Not a bad album of course, but... Just my point of view...
