  1. I'm actually happy to see that someone out there really digs "Dead again". It would be such a waste to record and release an album if everyone agreed it sucked!! Now, if only I could get my blood rushing when listening to it...
  2. My imagination is such that this post works just as well as real porn... LA stands for Lucrative Antlers! C P

  6. Whatever he did.......he's a fucking dumbass!!!!!!!! THAT chick is smokin'!!!! Agreed. That kind of overall look is in effect a free pass to do anything and be adored for it!!
  7. Getting closer to my 400th...
  8. Exciting, exciting... My favourite band just before the "Strange and awful" album came out... I love "Sakada" in comparison...
  9. Mercyful Fate is ok, sometimes good sometimes downright terrible (Dead again...) King Diamond is great, and I love every album apart from the pretty weak Fatal Portrait. I would urge anyone previously a fan to check out The Puppet Master, though. It IS the best he's done in many years. Probably since the brilliant Spider's Lullabye.
  10. Dave... am I jumping the gun here, in any way, or are you kinda fond of Paul Rogers? -I mean, as a singer...? You do leave that impression. Thought I'd point it out, if you were not aware how you come across... ;D
  11. Midnight Mark Boals Mike Baker Steve Hogarth John Payne Lenny Wolf Ronnie James Dio Andi Deris Geoff Tate Bob Catley Robin McAuley Oliver Hartmann ...and more Many great singers with different qualities out there.
  12. Lots of great ideas on Born Again. I didn't think it sounded all finished, but hey...
  13. Several copies of WinterStrain - Return to the mirror, since the package from the record company seems to be lost in the mail... At least I'll know a couple of cd's are sold to someone worthy...
  14. My favourtie band ever is MAGNUM. Why? Well, I don't know the exact answer, but here is a list of facts and some thoughts about it: I heard the first sounds from their "On a storyteller's night", more specifically, the intro to "How far Jerusalem", the opening track, at a time when I was just discovering melodic hard rock. And better of the kind hasn't been made. Then their next album came along. "Vigilante". And I rejoiced at the album and the sound. Really loved the songs on there. I started backtracking, and by a stroke of luck, even the really old records sat well with me. Here I was, 14 years old, and had just opened this treasure chest that gave me so much happiness and inspiration. You can't beat that. It went deep into my soul. The fact that I STILL like every new album they put out does no harm. Neither did meeting Tony Clarkin himself at Mad Hat Music, during the mastering sessions for our debut album this summer. What a nice guy! And he started asking me how we'd "managed to get that acoustic guitar sound?"!!!!!!! I was trying very hard to give an impression of professionalism, but probably didn't succeed. I met their bass player there, too, but when I stood face to face with the keyboardist, Mark Stanway, I almost started to cry... *BLUSH* I've been a keyboard fanatic for the duration of my life as a fan of music at all, so... He's THE man, you know. So, that's it. I just can't help it. The bottom line is: THE SONGS and THE TIMING.
  15. LOTR is as close to religion for me as you can get with a non religious man... I have read the books many years ago. The bible, too, come to think of it... I watched I ROBOT tonight. I was entertained. I believe that was the idea.
  16. Helloween - Keeper... The legacy. again FREAKIN' WONDERFUL!!!!
