To me, a vocalist is just like another instrument....if he sounds like Dubrow, then I may really like it and not care if it's called Quiet Riot or whatever. I mean, Arnel Pineda does a fine job filling in on the Journey stuff and I can appreciate that and the fact they have someone that has that 'sound'......we shall see if this guy fits that bill. In the end...the music may still kick ass and he may not sound like Dubrow and I may like that as well. If we were all so picky about singers replacing singers..then Brian Johnson and Sammy Hagar would have caused a similar ruckus back in the day....but....we all know how that turned out. To me....'some' bands are like that for me...while others...maybe not so much...don't ask me why...lol

I agree, Nightrain.....I HATE what Bon Jovi has become...BUT....I will say, that there ARE a handful of really good songs on this. Not that they 'rock'...but some really good songs nonetheless....

The new Maverick is awesome...and it reminds me of Roxxi and Inside Out, both awesome Indies from back in the day. Love this stuff!!

That was great! I have never heard of them either....and I am pretty deeply tapped into the Indie scene. I would hope that those tapes they made make their way to someone to see if they're good enough to release, perhaps? Might not be....but, hey.....some other bands have released poor quality stuff and sold a few copies. lol

Is it only available digitally? I see U.S. Amazon has mp3's, but will wait if will be released on CD.

Actually, Peter....the wall has been under construction since 1992. I should know, my company has built many miles of border wall/fence. I would actually smirk when they would talk about such things. The interesting thing is that during Bill Clinton's presidency they constructed more miles of wall than under any other. LOL So....the wall will continue to be built. **my firm just bid on a section two months ago** and no one will know the difference. Now...will he get Mexico to chip in on paying for it??!! I dunno.....but there already is a big wall...lol Oh...and the contracts to bid the wall are open to all who qualify, so there is no cronyism in that regard.

Story of the Year is an awesome Modern Hard Rock band.....Black Swan and The Constant are immense!!! Really looking forward to a new one from them!
