I've been stuck in a rut for for the last few weeks and can't seem to put together anything that rocks from beginning to end. I need tunes that will get me pumped on my way to work in the mornings.

Here's my most recent mix:

1. Shotgun Messiah - Bop City

2. Vain - Beat The Bullet

3. Bang Tango - Someone Like You

4. Babylon A.D. - Sacrifice Your Love

5. EZO - Love Junky

6. Pretty Boy Floyd - Some Kinda Voodoo

7. Motley Crue - Live Wire

8. Britny Fox - Long Way To Love

9. L.A. Guns - Never Enough

10. Child's Play - Knock Me Out

11. Dangerous Toys - Queen Of The Nile

12. Johnny Crash - Hey Kid

13. Heaven's Edge - Skin To Skin

14. Southgang - Shoot Me Down

15. Kik Tracee - Hard Time

16. Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation

17. RATT - Closer To My Heart

18. Dokken - Felony

19. Tora Tora - 28 Days

20. Spread Eagle - Switchblade Serenade

Any help is greatly appreciated! :drink:

"Dirty Love" is one of my favorites!! Everytime I hear it that riff is stuck in my head for hours. Another good "pissed-off" song is Skid Row's "Get the F*** Out" and L7's "Sh*tlist" -- "Bricks are Heavy" is a good pissed-off chick album! L7 is a bit out of genre for this site but it's still a cool disc.

Well, here's one I made a while back to get me through my 2-hour morning commute:

Judas Priest - Fever

Y&T - Contagious

Dangerous Toys - Queen of the Nile

Tokyo Blade - Love Struck

Tuff Luck - Tonight Tonight (hometown boys!)

MSG - This Broken Heart

Vandal - In Your Eyes (more hometown boys)

LA Guns - Give a Little

Ratt - Scene of the Crime

EZO - Kiss of Fire

Tobruk - Wild on the Run

Stone Fury - Break Down the Walls

Kix - Tear Down the Walls

Kiss - Unholy

Kiss - Who Wants to be Lonely

Thin Lizzy - The Cowboy Song

Helix - Deep Cuts the Knife

Jetboy - Feel the Shake

Babylon AD - Hammer Swings Down

Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell

I wish I still had time to make these things! It was so much quicker back in the Napster days... didn't even need my own CD's.

Steve.T I see you had Heavens Edge - Skin To Skin on your last mix too. Great kickass song and nice way to start off an album. The rest of that Heaven's Edge cd didnt' really have anything that stood out as far as I can remember. It's been a while since I played it though so I'll listen to it again. :headbanger:

BT,bubba and BC,

Heavens Edge is a great album. I think Skin To Skin is the strongest song but there are other highlights.

Play Dirty is a great lead off track....Find Another Way is a cool mid tempo ballad. I think What Do You Want? is excellent, Hold On To Tonight and Come Play The Game also.

The first song from the second album, Rock Steady, is also a good song and it's obvious that it was recorded at the same sessions as the dbut. It's just a shame the rest of the cd isn't up to that standard.

I remember when the Kingofthehill album came out there was a lot of coverage over here in the rock music press like they were the second coming, but I usually end up avoiding anything that hyped!

I finally bought the album on the cheap years later & loved it but it was nowhere near as great as the initial press coverage said so I probably wouldnt have liked it as much if I'd bought it back then!

By buying it years later I was able to listen to it without any expectations & was able to enjoy it for what it was,a damn good rock record!
