Leaning more towards the AOR side I'd recommend:-

John Elefante solo albums

Nouveaux ("Beginnings" album is awesome - very Def Leppard)

PFR ("Disappear" album is killer - like Nelson)

Steven Curtis Chapman

Petra (80's/early 90's albums only)

East to West (2 albums of killer westcoast - like Mr.Mister)

BRAVE - BATTLE CRIES might just be the best, if not the catchiest, Christian AOR release EVER. EVER is a very strong word, so do check it out!

Some of the best CDs in the Christian hard rock/metal genre are:

NOUVEUX: "Beginnings"

PETRA: "Beyond Belief"

SILOAM: "Sweet Destiny"

STRYPER: "To Hell With the Devil"

Now, if you're looking for stuff that's a bit more obscure, try these:

BLISSED: "Waking up the Dead"

SCOTT BRADLEY: "In the Beginning"

BROKEN SILENCE: "Discerning the Times"

CHRYZTYNE: "Tales of Paradise"

CHYLD: "Saints & Sinners"

CYNICAL LIMIT: s/t

EDEN: "Fan the Flame"

ELECTRIK: "Love Buzz Harmony"

HIGH VOLTAGE: "Written in Stone"

NINETEEN88: "The Great American Rock and Roll Spectacle"

SANXTION: "Think About It"

TITANIC: "Screaming in Silence"

VU: "Just as I am"

ZAXAS: s/t

And last but not least, if you don't mind the modern-melodic or nu-metal stuff, these are all good purchases:

DAY OF FIRE: s/t

DISCIPLE: "By God"

JONAH 33: s/t

KUTLESS: "Sea of Faces"

PILLAR: "Fireproof"

SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER: "Once Upon a Shattered Life"

THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH: "Phenomenon"

Hope that helps!

Keep the faith.

I think the Sin Dizzy CD is titled "He's Not Dead." Don't quote me, however.

Petra - "On Fire" has been getting some play in my car lately, and it's very good.

Christian/White Metal? Only have a few and some are not that great like:

CONTAGIOUS - Free Indeed (Read the reviews - terrible voice but the guitar just smokes)

This is band is good enough:

WATCHMEN - Generation

The best that I've heard by far is:

WHITE CROSS (has the Greatest guitarist in Christian rock - Rex Carroll!!!)

ZION - Thunder From The Mountain (very good songs)

and of course

GUARDIAN

You've got mail. :)

You REALLY need to get hold of White Heart - Highlands.

A fantastic album. Unique.

A great album for sure but I think 'Tales Of Wonder' is even better. Don't forget The Brave's - 'Battlecries' aswell.

Yes, I've got the "Tales of wonder", and a friend of mine thinks as you do. Don't know why, but I think of it as just good, bordering on great, while "Highlands" has me dumbstruck. But, yes, that's definitely a question of preferences. :)

    • Motley Crue signed with the country label from Tennessee Big Machine Rec.. New song Dogs of War relased on Friday the 26th. Other than that don't ask me what there doing they did a little video of them signing contract and it doesn't include John 5 so he's not really part of Motley he's a hired gun..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3iDklwv1PI&t=2s
    • Thanks I was wondering why he went with this cover ...lol  I wouldn't have but again thats me ...lol But I will be buying this CD. Peace Guys ...
    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
    • New single 'Symphony Of Life'.
    • Video for 'We Must Make A Stand'.
