The Worst Movie in Human History?

If we're allowed to count obscure, direct-to-video crap, then I have to go with "The Terror Within." A co-worker, upon hearing of my love for gory horror movies, bet me $5 I couldn't watch the whole thing in one sitting. Well, he's now $5 richer, because it took me three sittings to endure the torture of watching this video.

Now, if you want to just talk mainstream, then I'm going with the hugely overrated "The Missing," that revisionist western starring Tommy Lee Jones. Good Lord, spending 2+ hours having my nuts prodded with burning torches by a mob of midgets would be preferable to suffering through that film again.

Now, for those dissing on "Evil Dead"... :brutal_36:

That's OK. I didn't mean to make you have to come up with a response to cover up the fact that mine were stupid.

I'm going to my room to cry now. Everyone have a good New Year (especially YOU, Mr. I'm-So-Funny-With-My-Made-Up-Porn-Movie-Titles SHK!)

I would have to say one of the worst movies I ever saw was "Star Night" starring Harvey Keitel. Must have been one of his first movies. GOD AWFULL piece of crap. Plus, he actually shows his naked ass in the movie. Even more GOD AWFULL!!!

I would, like many on here, take exception to the Fifth Element being on a worst movie list. Just that little white belt outfit Milla wore makes it a classic movie.

Then you definitely wouldn't want to see Bad Lieutenant starring Keitel. If I remember correctly he does a full frontal nude scene. :puke:

Seriously though....I remember a movie called "Hardware" that I thought was absolute shit when I saw it in the theater...and I'm a 'movie' person...very hard to get me to 'hate' something....but I hated that one....

Wasn't that the one with Dylan McDermott? That was definitely a dog. I rented it, watched it for ten minutes, then immediately drove it back to the store to get something different.

Guess it doesn't need to be mentioned here since it's not the worst in Human History, but at least for whenever it came out ('02, '03?), The Sweetest Thing gets a negative vote from me.

Most of it wasn't actually a bad movie, but, the two musical scenes totally didn't fit in with the concept of the movie and the ending left way too much to be desired to actually be considered a good movie.

I'll go with Saving Silverman and any of the LOTR movies.  I just don't get them.

WTF!!! LOTR is brilliant, the best movie series from the last... I don't know how long. Probably the best movie trilogy since the original Star Wars (one of the better anyway).

Don't know Saving Silverman, but the title sucks, so probably the movie too

    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
