Wow, from looking at your posts I think all my CDs are guilty pleasures.

Oak Ridge Boys, Crystal Gayle, and Charlie Daniels used to be AOR in the 70s-80s. When Urban Cowboy came out people started listening to country. I'm glad that fad faded faster than disco.

My guilty pleasure band would be the band Caroline's Spine.

I've loved those guys since I first heard the song "Sullivan" and then saw them live twice and they were great.

I guess they were lumped in with more indie/alternative in the late 90's but to me they were just a great rock band with excellent melodic songs written by the underappreciated Jimmy Newquist.

 

I still have and love Attention Please, amazing release. I'm just pulling it out for a listen. Thanks for the reminder

Seen these guys open up for SEBASTIAN BACH at the BIRCH HILL... Gotta tell ya', they blew him away..Next day, I ran out and got MONSOON..
