I think alot of people kind of overlook Sammy's solo stuff, but the man has put out some SMOKING releases....particularly "Standing Hampton" through "I Never Said Goodbye". He was hitting on all cylinders at that point of his career. :banger:

Three Lock Box was the first Sammy cd I ever owned so I had to go with it.

Funny (ie: stupid) story, we had a patient named Bopp who was possibly going to have surgery but we weren't sure so I asked the doc "want to pre-op Bopp?" and thus had "One, Two, Three Lock Box" stuck in my head the rest of the day. :)

You missed off All Night Long/ Live Loud and Clear. Sammy is always best live and this release was outstanding from start to finish-In my all time top 10.

Which one has "Mas Tequila" on it?  Looooove that song!!!

Red Voodoo has that particular track MJ!! :drink:

I really like all the Sammy albums but Marching to Mars is a killer song and album. I would choose it as my favorite all around Sammy solo disk. Check out his DVD releases too as he puts on a great show live!

Speaking of Sammy is always best live, I think Red Hot! is very good, too. Although, the front cover/insert looks very cheaply done, this will point you to different albums of Sam for you to hunt for. And I still hear "Rock 'N Roll Weekend" in my local classic rock station.

Sammy Hagar had a very good solo career!

My favorite album would have to be... "Standing Hampton"!

"There's Only One Way To Rock", & "Heavy Metal" are great!

In second, would be "I Never Said Goodbye". Followed by "VOA"
