NO MORE CRYIN' is NOT good (and that's being polite as I have nothing but respect for greatest singer in melodic rock / AOR history).  Anyone other than Steve Perry and I doubt I would have made it through the second verse of that track.

All my friends wore Levi's jean jackets... I went off-script and wore Guess.  I always tried to be a bit different!  I did wear torn-up Levi's 501's, however.  Those, black Asics wrestling shoes, a Joe Elliot-esque mullet with blonde highlites and a hanging Cross earring.  All of that was totally the norm in 1987.  Yeah, I loved the 80's!

2018 Steve Perry is not for me.  Once again I'll reiterate that I love Journey-era Steve Perry nearly as much as anyone, and I'm perhaps the biggest Raised On Radio fan on this entire forum. 

I wish I hadn't pre-ordered Traces.  Anyone want to purchase my copy of the Blue-colored LP?

Not at all....I like all 3 songs. Loads of love on FB. I really don't get why people are not diggin this stuff. It's classic SOLO Perry, not Journey.

Very beautiful and melancholy.  Sun shines grey one of the cheerier songs on the album! 

I suspect I'll be listening to this one a lot. After a few listens today already clear this is a lovely piece of music.

poignant is the word.

the guy has obviously gone through the wringer after his loss. Some of these sings are achingly painful / sad, but so well written.

his vocals are still amazing.
