What Bands HAVE you Seen?

shamus

Recommended Posts

No doubt this topic has been covered at some point in time here but oh well. Who have you seen live and if you have an eidetic memory feel free to include details such as opening act, year you saw them, what album they were supporting, curious obvervations/facts about that tour date etc.

Go ahead. Make us readers jealous.

I've done this list so many times in the past ...bored at work, or just trying to take account, but I never get a definitive list...All my tickets are scattered around the house too in CD cases and in the loft. Load of bands from various multi band events like Gods of AOR and the like I can't remember. Like Jez I'll try and add more when I think of them.

lol. To be honest, from reports I hear, I predict they (well, CC at least) were a bit sloppy live back in the day (though my video from the 'Native Tongue' tour is awesome) but holy shit, alongside bands like Quireboys, Thunder and Aerosmith they must have been godsends! ;) What a dull line-up. Whitesnake must have been awesome in 1990, though.

PS. I appreciate Aerosmith probably put on quite a show, but the other two... well it doesn't really matter how "good" they were live, because all their songs still suck regardless! :)

Thunder are amazing live.....even if I'm not too fussed by recent material.

Touring the debut they were a force.

Too true...They'd give a few bands a run for their money now as well.

Yup ... when I saw them, they were superb - hugely entertaining, and as tight as anything (which can't be said for the headliners on the day, Bon Jovi, who were boring!)

Went to see Journey a few days ago in Greensboro, NC. It was my wife's birthday so I made sure we had great seats. Great show, but here's my problem. No Arnel material. That, to me, makes it feel like a tribute band. He deserves more than that. The albums he has done with Journey are fantastic, should have had some of his songs in that set.

When I saw them they did, I think only one Journey - Arnel Pineda song from the Revelation album. I think its FAITH IN THE HEARTLAND if I'm not mistaken.
