I'm a massive Dangerous Toys fan, but Broken Teeth have always been a poor man's AC/Dc, and I'm not a huge AC/DC fan anyway.

Sad because Pissed is an amazing album, and I also consider r*tist to also be a great album (although most here likely won't)

I always wonder if there is still great D Toys music to be made, or if they just burnt out and became pretty much a cover band due to lack of inspiration.

Hell, my user name is a D Toys song :)

The vocals are poor.

I have to agree.

That's why i've never been the biggest Dangerous Toys fan.

Although, i do love "Demon Bell"

I like Hellacious Acres a lot. It has a lot of good songs on it.

Agreed worth having for Best Of Friends alone. I do live the self titled as well.

As for the song it's fine by me.

I like my fair share of AC/DC influenced bands. This isn't bad, but nothing memorable. It lacks the fire that bands like Dirty Looks or even Airbourne have. I liked Jason w/ Dangerous Toys, but his voice sounds a little tired on this.

I had a listen and thought he sounded ok. Much better than he did on the first CD which I mistakenly bought without thinking.

Just the music isn't for me at all. Better than AC/DC though as it has more melody and a tiny bit more hookiness.

Jeez that sounds dreadful to me. 'Promise the moon' and 'Demon bell' are great songs for sure. Throw in 'Queen of the nile' and 'Gypsy (Black n' blue valentine)' and you have close to all you need from this chap. ;)

Yeah, good song. Don't get me wrong, I kinda dig the band and their first three releases, especially most of the debut... but as far as truly great songs go, they didn't have too many "classics" in my book. ;)

Not one of their best, but I don't even mind that one. Jeez I haven't heard that for a length of time.

The first 2 D Toys albums are ok. Some great tracks and some average tracks.

3 and 4 were their shining moments.

Not many people were I guess.

If you listen again, there are a few songs that will stand out as being traditional sounding among the more grungier songs.

Have you hear Mr Mc's vocals on the very first album by Watchtower ?

    • well I FB messaged WoA and they replied that they are still working on the album so I guess that will be 2019 now.
    • is Work of Art even out this year? Have not seen any news on that one??
    • My most anticipated release ( except Work Of Art and Magic Dance)    Haken  - Vector (October 26/Inside Out Music)   Tracklist:
      1. Clear

      3. Puzzle Box
      4. Veil
      5. Nil By Mouth
      6. Host
      7. A Cell Divides
    • Me likey! It's not as heavy as their older material, but seems to have a bit more lush musicality. I like the synth work. Polishes the edges a bit. Die-hards already hate it, and die-hards *always* hate when a band goes more melodic, so it can't possibly be bad.
    • New Teaser - Fantasy 2.0 - from the new album Aldo Nova 2.0 Aldo Nova 2.0 Release date 10/19/2018

After almost a decade with Houston I’ve learned a lot about myself and the music that I love. These songs are me, all me, singing my heart out for the world to hear and this album has been a dream of mine, something to cross off the bucket list if you will”. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Mats Ericsson at BoomBridge Studios. Recorded at BoomBridge Studios & Erix Music & Production Studios. Executive Producer – Hank Erix. HANK ERIX is the frontman of the Swedish AOR band HOUSTON. A band that have been a bright star in the AOR / Melodic rock sky over their last five releases. The band received the best AOR album 2010 accolade in Classic Rock Magazine and have appeared on several impressive festivals throughout Europe such as Sweden Rock and Download Festival. Over almost a decade with HOUSTON, HANK ERIX has made quite a name for himself in the melodic rock world and it’s finally time for the release of his solo debut ‘Nothing but Trouble’. The album features songs that has been marinating for years and sees the band leader of HOUSTON taking a bold step forward from the expected HOUSTON sound and sees Hank flexing his more hard rocking muscles. Tagging along with HANK ERIX on this 1700cc motorcycle ride of an album are members of Therion, Degreed, Art Nation, Wildness, Kryptonite, Palace, Gutterdämerung & Adrenaline Rush.
