Sad news for for Southern Rock fans. I didnt even know he was sick until a couple of months ago. Another Van Zant gone. Ive always enjoyed Jimmy's music. R.I.P. Brother.

Hmmm, well there you go. I'd never heard anything Van Zant before this year, but I have been slowly (very slowly) going through his/their discography over the past month or so. I can't see it being too amazing to me, but there's some solid stuff in there. R.I.P.

Another Van Zant gone from a very talented family. He maybe not have been as well known as Ronnie, Donnie and Johnny, but his 2 albums were reallly good. RIP Jimmie
