Tearjerkers

Totally random post from this guy, but I was listening to some of my talkback radio the other day where all the hosts love all this country shit. I usually switch over as soon as any of them ever start playing a song, but I must have been slow off the mark the other day and missed the skip and ended up getting hooked into this one. I'm hardly going to download it and put it on any of my playlists, but I found it to be a very moving tune;

Did it move you to tears?

Here's another country tune for y'all that I can't believe anyone could dislike. There's so much room in it for adding and changing up the harmonies as you sing along

This gets me everytime. Beautiful and haunting.

The first breath of summer in warm morning rain
Where crimson flowers covered the ground
The world faded 'round us
We fell to our knees
Amazed at the love we had found

She is everything
The sacred, the pure
The fix, the addiction
The vision, the cure
She rings down the years
'Round the corners we turned
An ember still burns to this day
But now it's all fading away
She is everything

With words of forever we'd paint through the night
Pictures of life we would share
Then we joined together with all that we owned
A promise
A ring and a prayer

She is everything
The sacred, the pure
The fix, the addiction
The vision, the cure
She rings down the years
'Round the corners we turned
An ember still burns to this day
But now it's all fading away
She is everything

She is everything
The sacred, the pure
The fix, the addiction
The vision, the cure
She rings down the years
'Round the corners we turned
An ember still burns to this day
But now it's all fading away
She is everything

  • My Little Pony

Great ballad from the first installation of Arion.

Yeah, I love this tune. I recall when the album was released, a lot of Power Metal fans were slating the band as being another run-of-the-mill European Power Metal outfit, and said that "You're My Melody" was such a generic and obligatory ballad, but I don't give a shit. I think it's great.

What a beautiful song

Yeah, I like that one. Very nice.

The Anberlin song that really strikes me from their latter years, however, for me, is this one;

Well, you wanna get into it?

This song always did it for me, as I always felt it was about me.

This one, too. The lines:

"And as our season grew

The time came when I knew

My path lead from among my band of brothers

And I can't describe

How hard it was

Or how much we loved each other"

Those words, I always thought those words would foreshadow that I would leave my group of friends. And, well, some shit happened last year, and I'm actually in a transition period in my life. So, it happened, just not the way I thought it would. But, yeah, I always knew it was gonna happen, so every time I listened to this song, it would hit me pretty hard.

Dreamer makes me cry too!!!!
