zacharyamelie
Behind Living Colour, Kix and GNR lies? Trust me I've pretty much hated anything Queensryche after Empire to today if it involved Geoff Tate, although I did love the last one with the new singer. Operation Mindcrime is still number 2 on my all time fav release list.

It still holds the standard for Progressive Metal.
Geoff
Again, a long way away before I can answer this properly, but from what I've rated so far: 1. Bon Jovi - New Jersey - 1988 - 93 2. Alien - Alien - 1988 - 90 3. Autograph - Missing Pieces - 1988 - 85 4. Aidean - Promises - 1988 - 82 5. 1927 - …Ish - 1988 - 80 6. Babylon A.D. - In The Beginning - 1988 - 78 7. Aina - Living In A Boy's World - 1988 - 77 8. Adrian Dodz - Adrian Dodz - 1988 - 76 9. Black N' Blue - In Heat - 1988 - 75 10. Choirboys - Big Bad Noise - 1988 - 75 11. Frehley's Comet - Second Coming - 1988 - 74 12. Lita Ford - Lita - 1988 - 73 13. First Strike - Only For You EP - 1988 - 73 14. Cannon - Thunder & Lightning - 1988 - 73 15. Battle Bratt - Battle Bratt - 1988 - 70 16. Paul Dean - Hardcore - 1988 - 69 17. Alyze - Alyze - 1988 - 69 18. After Hours - Take Off - 1988 - 68 19. D'Molls - D'Molls - 1988 - 63 20. Bai Bang - Enemy Lines - 1988 - 41 21. Van Halen - U0812 - 1988 - 39 People will say - OMFG you poofter, why is Autograph in your list? That was released in 1997, you mighty big homo! Well that's not how I'm going to roll with my ratings. If I have a recording (basically all Retrospect titles) that is released at a later date, but it clearly says when the songs were recorded, that album is going in the list for the year it was recorded. No exceptions. That's where it belongs and those albums are it's true peers.
Glen
More likely they'll say how the hell does New Jersey score 93%?? Wowser dude, ill admit it contains 3 or 4 of their best songs but there's quite a few weaker moments as well.

Yeah, a bit of creative reviewing from me there... which will happen where I see fit, lol. 'Homebound train' scored a 6, but I did not include 'Ride cowboy ride,' (which would have actually had a cool hook if recorded properly) and 'Love for sale' which I regarded as interludes and other such stuff. I do include plain bad songs in my scores (like 'Homebound train') but the obviously non-serious, pointless kind of evidently non-album tracks, I don't like to include those. Anyway, it's my party and I'll cry if I want to and that's how I roll. As for the rest of the album, it's pretty freakin' amazing and holds a lot of sentimental value too.
