new video: "The Burden Of Being Wonderful"

Gotta say, I kinda love that tune. Love the verses and pre-chorus, great lyrics too. There's no hiding the fact there's no real chorus, but I dunno, really cool vibe. I could see that song really growing into one of my faves by the end of the year. Very tame too, so the blouse wearers can enjoy it too. ;)

Mate ive listened to that track numerous times, and whilst you are right that there is no real chorus (and that bothered me at the start), that (mini) chorus hook is so infectious!! Find your self singing it all the time.

The sound is so lush as well. Ive said it before but I wish other bands in the genre could capture this 'sound'.

The lyrics as well, without being smutty are still classic..........

'if i was born in 1453, leonardo Davinci would be jealous of me'

Love this band, and yeah just hoping that this is as good and consistent throughout as the previous 2 albums.

Yeah, I love the lyrics too. I've always said I love their silly "cute" lyrics every bit as much as the unadulterated hardcore porn lyrics. I find whatever the subject, I always get a good laugh out of it, and I really enjoyed this lyrical choice. Can't wait to hear 'Bukkake Tears,' though.

The more I listen to it, the more it reminds me of something akin to Hysteria era Leppard. Not a dead ringer, but certainly wouldnt have been out of place on that album.

I still kinda hope this is one of the weaker tracks as that means everything is gonna be great, cause if this is the quality of weaker tracks, I would be more than happy to have an album full of em.

Thought there was only two singles .. Party like, and Burden.

I heard Glory hole last night when I saw them play live though.

Oh, and I can now confirm that BVS stands for Big Vagina Syndrome .

big vagina syndrome is becoming a common disease / ladies who have this affliction are never easy to please :D

I went down on a girl with big vagina syndrome once. I thought I could handle it, but I was in over my head.

the sound and production on this one seem a little ''stripped down'' compared to balls out, think I'm gettin used to it though been listening to it for the past two days now. lyrics are HILARIOUS again, BVS, gangbang at the old folks... only feel the last 3 tracks are kind of weak, although she's on the rag has its moments sometimes musically. I predict there's gonna be a lot of singing along to this during this summer

not saying it's bad, but if you compare the riffs from gloryhole and gangbang at the old folks home to let's say... supersonic sex machine or gold digging whore, you can't deny that it sounds thinner, at least the guitars do

there's short snippets (very short, only like 5 seconds or so) of gangbang and gloryhole at the beginning of a few steel panther youtube videos that were uploaded over the last couple weeks (science panther, demolicous etc.) and when I first heard those I thought they were still rough mixes that were gonna get beefed up a little during mixing / mastering (or whatever it's called) in the studio

when balls out was released i remember not particularly liking the bigger sound at first, but it became the sound I'm now used to hearing from steel panther, so I guess it'll just take some time to get used to the new songs

Still no idea what u are on about.

when comparing gold digging whore with gloryhole, you don't think gold digging whore sounds kind of.... ''fuller''?

All i know is that riff/bass whatever it is at the beginning of Gloryhole sounds awesome. Does it for me.

It's official. Steel Panther have gone back into the studio with producer Jay Ruston ('Feel the Steel', 'Balls Out') to begin recording their third record.

More details to cum.

1 year from first post till final release of the album, that's fuckin long when you think about it.......

Not really. With touring often delaying recording, its quite normal for an album to take a year or more, especially for more popular bands.

And hell, its nothing to how long the likes of GNR or Def Leppard are known for taking on recording an album.
