Yeah, but this one we raved about for two solid years.

Yea but I usually don't pay that much attention to you all anyways... :)

2011/2012 was a busy couple years for me and music wasn't a focal point.

Truu!

To both points.

With everything that goes on in my life, music is a must for me(sure there may be a day, or week that goes by because something happened) but it is always present in my life!

Yep. It's good to have something consistent in your life.

Amazing album and shame they haven't release anything new yet

I poked about a little and I searched a few off the members and their Facebook pages have been inactive for a couple years...

WTF

WTF

All is quiet in both the Circus Maximus and Leverage camps. I wonder what they're up to?

My #1 of 2011

It was mine too but not sure it would be now? To be honest ive not listened to it for ages.

I think the performance at Firefest turned me off a bit...the singer was OK but nowhere near great imo. And very accented.

Still a good album in any case.

It was number 6 on my list. Like Glen, though, haven't heard it in a while.

1. Toby Hitchcock - Mercury's Down

2. White Widdow - Serenade
3. Work of Art - In progress
4. Trust Company - Silence in black and white
5. Steel Panther - Balls Out
6. The Magnificent - The Magnificent

yeah Hitchcock and woa would defo be above, maybe WW as well - I'll be re-visiting Serenade this weekend as seeing them in early March :-)

That Panther disc is brilliant as well - has held up well to repeat spins.

Yeah, I'm definitely comfortable with all the discs above it... I even wonder if there may be more from the year? I like The Magnificent disc but can't remember it being as consistent as a real magical album. The 5 above it on my list are all mega consistent. And brilliant.

Read earlier that ‘good progress is being made’ in regards to a follow-up.

Excellent news - one of my all time favourite Melodic Rock releases.
