I'll be at The Stables in Wavendon next month.....Anyone seen/seeing them on tour ?

yep, seeing them in London. No idea what they'll be like - more of a nostalgia thing really.

Im amazed at how many people on this site seem to be skint?! Must be a sign of the times I guess...

Yeah, times are really tough. No pay rise for years is hard to manage. If I didn't have to pay so much to get to work, I'd be fine, but commuting is bloody expensive.

I was made redundant 12 months ago, it's a living nightmare and stressful as hell.

Hope they'll come to Sweden again, the show in Stockholm was really fantastic. "Try Me" was just amazing, never thought I'd get to hear that.

wow just read this, 3K for transporation is crazy,

is that for the gasoline cost you drivin' or the public transporation ?

then you'll be a rich guy here Glen, I only spent around £40 on gasoline for a whole month, well government is about to raise around 30% to cut oil subsidization, but then that's only less than £100 along with parking fee :D

If I buy an annual rail ticket, it would cost me over £4K!

Hence I get the coach, which means a 2-hour commute each way.

Still, I suppose I chose to live in Kent...

Ouch - 2hrs is a looooong commute!! Mine is about an hour door to door - which is just about perfect for listening to one album each way!! lol

UFO last night = Stunning !

No support act,on for 1hr.50min,in what was,in their words too,one of their more intimate gigs, but they went for it....

Opening with Let It Roll, then two newies,Fight Night and Wonderland,we were treated to standard after standard,I'm A Loser,Love To Love,Only You Can Rock Me,Rock Bottom, the list was endless, right up to the encore number Shoot Shoot.Lights Out being a personal fave.

The band themselves were as tight as a drum,Andy Parker was outstanding on drums, the rest, you couldn't see the seam,Phil Mogg was,Phil Mogg, albeit with father time catching up with him,but for me the star was Vinnie Moore, his guitar was breathtaking.

For those about to see them,i.m.o.,you WON'T be disappointed......Loved it !
