AC/DC in Sydney

Just want to send out a big public thanks to our very own Justin (member name Farenheit) for a really cool evening last night. The poor bastard was left with a spare ticket to AC/DC in Sydney after buying 2 tickets up in Brisbane. As he still had this spare ticket he kindly offered it to me even though I expressed an inability to pay for it, and the rest is history!

As people here may know, I'm no wild AC/DC fan, nor do I even own a single CD from them, but funnily enough I knew every single song they played, lol, bar maybe one or two. It was a HUGE show too and can I get a hell yeah for "titty cam" which made a very, very unexpected appearance several times last night. Here I was thinking AC/DC were a family band. Anyway, thanks to all the sexy trollops for getting their norks out and making a good night even better.

Band was good - very solid - despite the 20min guitar solo or however long he went on for, lol... but yeah, good show. Got to have a few drinks with Justin too. Now met, from HH, Lindsay, Matt (regrettably) and Justin - all absolute top fellas... except that Matt guy. Haha.

But yeah, just want to say again, a HUGE thanks to Justin for the kind offer. Hope you got home alright last night, mate. And enjoy the rest of your stay in Sydney! :)

Sounds like you had a good time (despite AC/DC).

Very cool of Justin to invite you along. That is part of what makes this a great little community. I guess nobody had told Justin :geoffadillos:

Your all bastards.

What did you do on Monday night, Matt? You enjoy 'Desperate Housewives'?

HAHA!

HA!

HAHAHA!

Seriously, can you buy me a Stryper ticket please? Then we can hug again.

And yeah, it was great. Definitely not an opportunity that comes by often in a lifetime, which is why Justin is so awesome.

It was a great show. Would've been nice to get up closer but with 70,000 people in that stadium it was just impossible.

I managed to get back to the hotel in 35 minutes - got a train straight away back to to Parra then a big line of taxi's were waiting - about $12 all up. Was very happy with that.

Best song of the night I thought was 'Let There Be Rock' but yeah that guitar solo went on a bit. And they played 'You Shook Me' too early. One song I would have loved to hear that they didn't play was 'Who Made Who'.

Glad you enjoyed it Geoff. Nice to catch up and have a few drinks too. :)

35mins? Awesome. I think that was even quicker than it took me, but not by much. Public transport to/from the event, that I saw, was fantastic! Nice change for once.
