Driver Sons of Thunder released today

Rob Rock and Roy Z teamed up for this rerelease of their 1990 EP. It is now a full length album.

 

I had the demo cassette back in the day and I loved it. I'm pretty pumped to be getting this on disc.

True, He is the busiest man in metal. Lets not forget the new Impelliteri which he is on.

 

I ordered my copy through The End, they also have it at NEH records.

I think Jarred started a thread on this somewhere a few weeks ago but I didn't realise it was a Christian Metal album.

From the samples I heard it sounded great but don't remember the lyrics.

The lyrics aren't suer bold, but the spiritual slant is still there.

 

This is a really good disc. Probably up there with my favorite RR material of all time.

Let's not forget the new Impellitteri, which he is on.

Dumbest thing Impellitteri ever did = fire Rob Rock as vocalist.

Smartest thing Impellitteri ever did = bring Rob Rock back as vocalist.

 

Those last two Rock-less Impellitteri albums left a lot to be desired...

Sons of Thunder is a very good cd. I was a little disappointed with his Fires of Babylon but SoT makes up for it. Now I cant wait for the next Impellitteri cd
