  2. Press release: NEW SONG & VIDEO ALERT: Famed Producer & Songwriter Clif MagnessAnnounces New Solo Album, LUCKY DOG! Releases First Single & Video, "Ain't No Way"! +Pre-order here: http://radi.al/LuckyDog In the early '90s, melodic rock had more or less left the mainstream and become an underground affair championed by a group of small indie labels in Europe. But, in 1994, one spectacular release appeared on the scene from a singer/ songwriter named Clif Magness, entitled “Solo” that managed to collect truly rave reviews from all over the world (yes, even in a time when melodic rock was considered dead and gone). “After receiving numerous requests from fans all over the world, I am excited to announce that I’m teaming up with Frontiers and releasing a new solo album,” says Clif. “Very cool to be working with Frontiers and after too long, on my own project. Years have passed since my last solo effort, but the truth is, I am, at the heart of things, a journeyman songwriter, and producer for others, and still am. But I have had an awesome time stepping out and putting together this record.“ Clif continues, “Some very loyal Melodic Rock, Planet 3 and Clif Magness fans worldwide have been asking me to record a follow up to “Solo” for a few years now. I contacted a couple of long time collaborators of mine, Mark Mueller , Jennifer Grais and Brock Walsh to write some new songs. I also included a new writer named Sherrie Adams. During the writing process, I contacted the esteemed vocalist Robin Beck. Robin recorded a song I wrote with Steve Kipner called “Footprints In The Rain” years ago, I’m a huge fan of her work! With Sherrie, we wrote “Love Needs A Heart” and recorded it as a duet”. The first song/video, “Ain’t No Way” was written with Mark Mueller who also wrote “If We Can’t Do It” with Clif on “Solo”. Clif says, “Mark has a great lyrical talent, especially in the “kick ass” context. I think kicking off an album with a barn burner is important. Also it has the theme of self-empowerment”. “I’ve always been interested in the recording process. I literally had a mixer and two tape recorders in my bedroom when I was thirteen. That is to say that my studio is now at my home where I write, produce, engineer and perform all of the instruments and mix. Soup to nuts! Whenever I can, I ask Josh Freese to perform the drum tracks. And on “Lucky Dog”, my son Evan performed many of the guitar tracks," explains Clif. But who is Clif Magness? Well, he certainly needs no introduction for music fanatics who have devoted much of their time over the years to reading the credits in album liners. By the time the "Solo" record came out, he already made a name for himself co-writing and producing a #1 hit with Jack Wagner (“All I Need”), a top 5 hit for Wilson Phillips (“Impulsive”), and winning a Recording Academy / GRAMMY for the song “The Places You Find Love” from Quincy Jones‘ critically acclaimed album, “Back On The Block”. Just three years later, in 1993, Clif was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globes Award for the song “The Day I Fall In Love” from the film “Beethoven’s 2nd”, co-written with Carole Bayer Sager and James Ingram. Throughout the 1990s and into 2000, Clif continued to work with outstanding artists such as Céline Dion, Hanson, Steve Perry, Amy Grant, and Joe Bonamassa, among others. Clif was also instrumental in developing perhaps the biggest breakout artist of 2003, Avril Lavigne. Being among the first writer/producers to work with Avril, Clif’s writing and production style became the benchmark for the album. Clif co- wrote and produced the fourth, much edgier, Avril Lavigne single “Losing Grip,” as well as five other tracks from her multi-platinum debut “Let Go.” Of course he has kept on working and creating some great and hugely successful music for many singers in the past few years, including Kelly Clarkson, Vanessa Amorosi, Tyler Hilton, Robin Beck, Marie Digby, Julia Michaels, and many others. Frontiers Music Srl is truly honored and excited to welcome such a huge talent to the label and firmly believes this will continue their unapproachable track record of bringing AOR fans music they are more than happy to hear. The new release will follow in the footsteps of “Solo”, with an updated production and sound befitting of the 21st century. cliftonmagness.com TRACKLISTING: 1. Ain’t No Way 2. Don’t Look Now 3. The songs are awesome, and the musicianship will BLOW YOU AWAY. Fortune

BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl welcomes AOR cult heroes Fortune to the label for the release of a new studio album in early 2019! Mick Fortune says, "[w]e are looking forward to working with Frontiers in both a recording and a touring capacity! Exciting times ahead!" Fortune’s lineup is comprised of: Mick Fortune (drums) Richard Fortune (guitar) Larry Greene (vocals) Ricky Rat (bass) Mark Nilan (keyboards) The seeds of Fortune were planted by brothers Richard and Mick Fortune, who came from a family of professional musicians; their mother was a singer and their father a singer and bassist. Richard started playing the guitar when he was 16, and went on to play guitar and tour with Buddy Miles, Booker T & The MGs and Spirit, while Mick started out as an accordion, keyboard, and trombone player before switching to drums. The brothers cut an album, "Fortune" for Warner Brothers in 1978, but by 1982 had totally revamped the group with a new key acquisition being the recruitment of Roger Scott Craig. A classically trained pianist from the age of 8, the Irish born keyboard player was known for a successful stint with the Scouse pop group Liverpool Express in the '70s. With a lineup rounded out by Larry 'L.A.' Greene, also of Top Gun soundtrack fame, on vocals, and Detroit studio and Elton John bassist Bob Birch, Fortune eventually released their self-titled debut album in 1985 to a warm reception, especially in Japan and Europe. Camel/MCA Records (the same label that had launched Night Ranger and Giuffria to stardom) released the debut and it is still highly regarded today by fans of the genre. For many fans of the genre, it is indeed considered one of the best, if not THE best AOR albums of all-time. While this is of course very much open to debate, the reality is that Fortune’s album is one of those lost gems from yesteryear that has aged like fine wine while the years have passed. Shortly after that legendary self-titled album's release, Camel Records unexpectedly declared bankruptcy for undisclosed reasons and refused to give up the masters of the album, making an album re-release impossible until fairly recently. The band remained silent for years and while Larry Greene and Roger Scott Craig started working together with the band Harlan Cage (who released several albums in the second half of the 90’s and early 00’s), the Fortune brothers started the band back up again as a trio in 2006, until a proper band reunion happened in 2016 when the band performed at the Rockingham Music Festival in 2016 and then - thanks to the acclaim that followed that performance - in 2017 as well. These appearances ultimately led to discussions with Frontiers about a new studio album. Follow the band on Facebook here:https://www.facebook.com/fortunerockers

  13. From Frontiers: BREAKING NEWS: JIZZY PEARL OF LOVE/HATE to release NEW ALBUM ‘All You Need Is Soul’ on May 11, 2018! Title track now available to stream/download! Listen to it below. The unmistakable voice from one of the most loved hard rock bands of the early 1990’s is returning this May. Jizzy Pearl of Love/Hate is back with his new solo album ‘All You Need Is Soul’. This highly anticipated studio release is out May 11, 2018 via Frontiers. “In my opinion, this is the best record I’ve done since ‘Blackout in the Red Room.’, says Jizzy. “It captures all the energy and power of that album with great songs, high energy vocals, big drums courtesy of Dave Moreno (Puddle of Mudd) and amazing guitars from Love/Hate guitarist Darren Housholder.” From the opening vocals of blistering first song ‘You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone’ to the effortlessly cool album closer ‘Mr Jimmy’, Jizzy’s new record is brimming with fresh new music that’s easily recognizable while contemporary in its delivery. Listen closer and you’ll discover the hard-rocking groove of ‘High For An Eye’, the funk rock of album title track ‘All You Need Is Soul’ and many more new favorites. Make no mistake, Jizzy Pearl has returned and he’s better than ever. Jizzy Pearl and Love/Hate burst onto the scene in 1990 with the debut album ‘Blackout In The Red Room’ and proceeded to take the world by storm while winning Best Album of the Year from Kerrang! and Metal Hammer magazines along the way. Playing sold out shows and opening for Skid Row, AC/DC, and Dio put Love/Hate on the map. MTV hits ‘Why Do You Think They Call It Dope, ‘She’s An Angel' and the band’s follow up album, ‘Wasted In America’ has ensured a loyal following to this day. The track listing for ‘All You Need Is Soul’ is: 1) You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone 2) Comin' Home To The Bone 3) High For An Eye 4) All You Need Is Soul 5) House Of Sin 6) Mortified 7) Frustrated 8) When The Devil Comes 9) You Don't Know What It's Like 10) It Doesn't Matter 11) Little Treasures 12) Mr Jimmy www.facebook.com/JizzyPearlsLoveHate

    No Hot Ashes - s/t

Debut album out March 23 on Frontiers. Press release: NO HOT ASHES are a melodic rock group who formed in early ‘80’s Belfast. The rock scene of those days was a welcome alternative to the violence that was happening on the streets and ‘The Ashes’ became local favourites releasing one single independently. They signed to GWR Records in 1988, with a line-up featuring original members Dave Irvine on guitar and Paul Boyd on bass, joined by new singer Tommy Quinn on vocals, Tommy Dickson on keyboards and Steve Strange on drums. Moving to London and supporting the likes of Mama’s Boys and Magnum it seemed their star was rising but problems with getting their debut album released brought dissolution and one-by-one band members returned to Northern Ireland. By the end of 1990 ‘The Ashes’ fire went out and they called it a day. Burn through the years to September 2013 and NO HOT ASHES are given two reasons to reform. One was to play a tribute gig for Belfast’s famous Rosetta Bar, the centre for Northern Ireland’s rock and metal scene from the early 80’s, which had recently closed. The other was to remember old rock friends no longer with them. The Rosie, as it was affectionately known, was a venue very dear to The Ashes hearts as their club night ‘Cinders’ was started by their old manager Stephen Magee, a mad PR genius who passed way before his time. They enjoyed playing again so much… they couldn’t stop and since the beginning of 2014 they’ve supported Aerosmith, Foreigner, FM and UFO. Playing Hard Rock Hell AOR, Download, London Calling, Ramblin' Man and Steelhouse festivals and most recently Rockingham! They still sound and feel like a classic 80’s rock band and after tracking new demos, the band sent the material to Frontiers who loved what they heard (strongly rooted in the classic tradition of British Melodic Rock à la FM, Heartland, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi) and signed them for the release of a new record. “There's less hair but more rock,” said Davey Irvine. “And it’s great to get back with the guys after all these years. I'm really enjoying writing the new material and I think we've all aged well musically.” And, as original singer Eamon Nancarrow points out: “With NO HOT ASHES I have always felt that we had some unfinished business. What I want from this reunion, and the up and coming gigs is to prove we could have made it given the breaks. Oh yeah and to show my kids that their Dad rocks!” With old crowd favorites such as “I’m Back” and “Summer Rain” in the set, the Ashes have also been writing new material, such as the epic ballad ‘Boulders’ and the all out rocker ‘Glow’ which will set fire to the new record. For drummer Steve Strange, the only member to have carved a successful career in the music industry, it is the songs that make this adventure worthwhile: “These tunes have stayed in my head since we split up and I’ve always felt they needed to be heard by a wider audience. When the band clicked at first rehearsal it made sense to see how far we could take this.” All members in the current line¬ up below have played a significant part in the band’s history with Dave Irvine being the only member to have been in all manifestations. NO HOT ASHES are Dave Irvine on guitar, Nial Diver on guitar, Paul Boyd on Bass, Steve Strange on drums, Tommy Dickson on keyboards, along with the original singer Eamon Nancarrow. The Reunion EP featuring re-recorded tracks from their early days is available for free download from Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/no¬hot¬ashes¬reunion. Tracklisting: 1. Come Alive 2. Good To Look Back 3. Satisfied 4. Boulders 5. I’m Back 6. Glow 7. Over Again 8. Jonny Redhead 9. Souls 10. Running Red Lights

    Tora Tora

From Frontiers: We are thrilled to welcome Memphis’ very own Tora Tora to the Frontiers’ family! The band will commence recording a new studio album in 2018 for a tentative release in early 2019! Tora Tora’s mixture of hard rock with their hometown’s legendary blues style put them in a class of their own and we were thrilled to find the band was open to creating new music. We can’t wait to hear what they have in the works for their new studio album! Says vocalist Anthony Corder, “TORA TORA is proud to announce we have signed with Frontiers! With a rich musical heritage and focus on quality content, we feel their company culture is the perfect fit for our project. We are excited to join some of our favorite artists and friends on their international roster. Thank you to Serafino Perugino, Mario De Riso, and Nick Tieder and our entire Frontiers’ family for this opportunity. We are looking forward to creating some great music and many good memories with all of you!” Comments guitarist Keith Douglas, “When we first started talking about a new Tora Tora project, the biggest question for us was what it would sound like after so much time had passed since we'd written together. After just one day of collaborating, it was clear we were going to pick up right where we left off so many years ago. We have some really good songs already written as well as a ton of other cool ideas to get sorted out. Having creative freedom is a huge bonus for us. As far as the direction, it's just going to be whatever comes out. But I can tell you what has come out so far rocks as hard as anything we've ever done and lets our Memphis roots shine through. We are very excited to be working on what we feel like is going to be a very special record and just as excited to be working with Frontiers Records. Stay tuned!" https://www.facebook.com/ToraToraBand/

    Jono - Life

From Frontiers: BREAKING NEWS: JONO To Release New Album, “Life” December 1, 2017! JONO , are an incredible progressive rock band from Sweden that are a must hear for all fans of the genre! The band says: 'We are very thrilled and proud about our cooperation with Frontiers Music Srl, a label which is home to so many great artists we truly respect and admire. As a band, this is an excellent opportunity to reach the international markets we've been aiming for. We can't wait to release the coming album, and of course hit the stage to be heard and seen by a wider audience, meeting with old and new fans. See you all out there!' Swedish band JONO started as a solo project of singer Johan Norrby (hence the moniker ”JoNo”), who has been singing, writing, and playing music in various bands and projects over the years. This is very much true for all the members of the band. Guitarist Stefan Helleblad is also a member of Dutch symphonic sensations Within Temptation. Drummer Nicka Hellenberg actually played all the drums on Within Temptation's "The Unforgiving" and has an impressive resume involving bands and recordings. Both keyboard player Johan Carlgren and bass player Janne Henriksson are frequently hired for both live and studio sessions. Leo Olsson – also a busy musician – joined the band in 2015. JONO’s music is hard to pinpoint. Maybe it's best described as melodic rock with symphonic and progressive elements, always based on strong melodies with bombastic arrangements. Dynamics and a contemporary, fat sound are important ingredients in the JONO musical recipe. Their music has been said to show the influence of great artists like Queen, Supertramp, Kansas, Journey, and Sparks, but above all the band has received a lot of credit and praise because of their unique sound. Track Listing: 1. Sailors 2. Crown 3. No Return 4. On The Other Side 5. Downside 6. To Be Near You 7. My Love 8. The Magician 9. Trust 10. The March BAND MEMBERS: Johan Norrby – lead vocals Johan Carlgren – piano/keyboards Stefan Helleblad – lead guitar, guitars Leo Olsson – guitars Janne Henriksson – bass Nicka Hellenberg – drums JONO Links: • Website: http://www.jonotheband.com • Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jonotheband/

We are pleased to announce the re-signing of Airrace for a new album to be released in 2018! An opening salvo from the record arrives today with the single ‘Eyes Like Ice’. One of the UK’s pioneering AOR bands, the group will play the Rockingham 2017 event in Nottingham on 22nd October, before hitting the toad with kindred spirits Lionheart for a pre-Xmas co-headlining tour. Dates are : 22.10.17 NOTTINGHAM Rockingham 2017 30.11.17 CARDIFF Fuel * 01.12.17 WOLVERHAMPTON Slade Rooms * 02.12.17 LONDON Underworld * 03.12.17 SHEFFIELD O2 Academy * 05.12.17 NEWCASTLE The Cluny * 06.12.17 EDINBURGH Bannermans * *co-headlining with Lionheart Airrace founder and guitarist Laurie Mansworth says: "We are absolutely delighted that Airrace have signed to Frontiers. Our new single has the classic Airrace sound but with a heavier edge. We can't wait for you to hear the full album. I’m also thrilled to be taking the band on the road, which will be the first time the new line-up has toured together. It features my son Dhani (of The Treatment) on drums." Of the tour co-headliners, he adds: “I toured with Dennis, Rocky and Steve back in the 80’s and have very fond memories of our time on the road together. It’s a great double bill and I really hope rock fans up and down the UK will come and share a fun night with us.” Known in Hard Rock circles for being the band that saw the musical debut of drummer Jason Bonham, Airrace was the brainchild of former More guitarist Laurie Mansworth. Following the acclaimed 1984 release of their debut album, ’Shaft Of Light’, the band supported rock titans such as Queen, AC/DC, and Meat Loaf, but they had crash-landed by the summer of 1985. It took a 25th anniversary reissue of the record to reunite the group (with a slightly amended line-up), and they eventually issued a second album, ‘Back To The Start’ via Frontiers in 2011.
