  1. CH - thanks for sharing. I rarely post here, and I appreciate those who help with songs. I don't write formal "thank yous" just to save time and online inbox clutter. But I am thankful. I mostly use this website as a reference and to search for bands/albums. Rarely ask others for help here. I also help others on other websites/forums, and I don't expect any thank yous from people. Everyone helps everyone in their areas of expertise. But maybe some people expect a written note of thanks. I don't know. Everyone is different. I am curious what others think.
  2. Heard a song (power ballad) on a European rock station recently. Can someone help with the song/artist? Here are some lyrics (sounded like the chorus), at least what I was able to hear: You gotta let go... Top of the world (?) One day love will rule the world
  3. Heard a rock song a few days ago on an Internet station in Europe with these lyrics: remember what you said to me when time was standing still... what are you waiting for... The last line repeated, so I figured that was the chorus/title. Searched online ("what are you waiting for"), and two songs came up by Nickleback and Disturbed. But these are not the groups as the other lyrics don't match. Anybody know the song/artist? Rock on!
  4. Looking for the artist/title with these lyrics. Song is around 3:25 and recorded before 2008. Rock song. Male singer. Searched online -- nothing. Even Siri on my iPhone could not identify it! Opening verse: Can't seem to find my way back to you And I don't know where I'll be tomorrow Time, oh time is of the essence Can I find my way back to you Cause I try but time don't wanna be my friend Hit a wall I can't break through... And now that I'm out here on my own I get a funny feeling... Chorus: Can't seem to find my way back to you And I don't know where I'll be tomorrow I want you to know that I still love you...
  5. Around 2007, I got a CDR compilation of some obscure rock songs but no artists or song titles. I searched online and found a few artists -- Bonfire, Burning Rain, Danger Danger, Millenium, Pretty Boy Floyd, Roxus, and Valentine. I still have 9 songs to go. As a start, can anyone help with these two (title and artist)? Here are the lyrics: song #1 is 5:50: can't you see that this was meant to be and my heart belongs to you tell me what else can i do to show you how i feel ----------------------------------------- song #2, a power ballad, is 5:39: i guess the higher you get the harder you fall the closer you get to another the harder it is to let go. ------------------------------------ Thanks in advance for any insights into these songs!
