  1. Love all of the tracks so far. ‘Now and Forever’ is very very Toto like and it’s also good to see them going back to the more trad. West Coast sound with the funky horn section etc on some tracks, rather than churn out another Work Of Art style soundalike release…. Really good stuff this.
  2. As Dan says above, matching their last album is going to be a hell of a task, as it was a brilliant album and one of the best of that year by far. This is a good start though...reallly looking forward to hearing it all

  6. This makes me very happy in my trouser department. 2 fabulous albums so far, so my expectations are pretty high for this one.
  7. It's an ok album and no more. 'Will I See You Again' is the only track that really stuck. Meh!!
  8. Played this all day yesterday. It's very short and I would have preferred 2 more new tracks rather than the pointless re-records tacked onto the end, but ii is a very good album nevertheless.
  9. Great band. The previous 'Abyss' album was epic. Really looking forward to this one. '
  10. I gave up on ordering Frontiers CD's from Amazon as they were always late. When I do order, I get mine from Scott at Replay Records, who generally has them in a week before release and even with postage, come in cheaper than buying from Amazon. Scott provides a great service too, so a no brainer for me now.
  11. Honeymoon Suite - Alive Revolution Saints - Against The Wings
  12. Yep..I fucked up ...but...all three of those you mentioned feature very highly in my list. It's just that my top 5 were so good, they got edged out.
  13. I haven’t got this one yet, but the last 3 Albums have all been excellent. They were great supporting Iron Maiden last year too.
  14. Biff still sounds brilliant on here and Brian Tatler is all over this. Bloody excellent album
  15. Metalite - Expedition One The Rods - Rattle The Cage No-Man - Housekeeping: The OLI Years 1990-1994 (Box) No-Man - Swagger Dominum - Hey Living People Go West - Dancing On The Couch (Deluxe)
  16. Nice pick on the Dominum. I completely missed this too due to the release date being over the holiday period, but after playing this several times, it would definitely have made my ‘honourable’ list. Great stuff
  17. Black Orchid Empire - Tempus Veritas Black Orchid Empire - Yugen Caligula's Horse - Charcoal Grace Mayfire - Cloudscapes & Silhouettes Grand - Second To None Mama's Boys - Runaway Dreams 1980-1992 (Box)
  18. Saxon - Hell, Fire And Damnation (Box Set) Exploring Birdsong - The Thing With Feathers EP. Exploring Birdsong - Dancing In The Face Of Danger EP. Temic - Terror Management Theory Earthside - Let The Truth Speak Aviations - Luminaria Exit Eden - Rhapsodies In Black
  19. Cool riffage and a good solid Saxon tune. Album out end of the week..can't wait.
  20. As mentioned, the top 10 are pretty predictable, but there are some absolute top notch discs in that list. I'd re-order and add a few different ones, but the major ones are all there.
  21. Sweet... look forward, as always, to a new album from them
  22. Magnum - Here Comes The Rain (CD/DVD) Timson - Forever's Not Enough (Signed) Exit Eden - Femme Fatales Bring Me The Horizon - Post Human: Survival Horror
  23. A great little album this one, especially as it's all self released too. There's some really nice AOR stuff with that lovely 80's sound to it, with 'Across All Chaos' being my choice track, but all are really good and recommended. Physical copies available on bandcamp
  24. I love John Farnham's stuff, especially 'Whispering Jack' and 'Age Of Reason'. I was lucky enough to see him at the Dominion Theatre inLondon on the 'Age Of Reason ' tour and he was an incredible live singer... one of the best i've seen. Love his stuff on some of the Little River Band albums too. quality stuff.
