    What Bands HAVE you Seen?

Went to see Journey a few days ago in Greensboro, NC. It was my wife's birthday so I made sure we had great seats. Great show, but here's my problem. No Arnel material. That, to me, makes it feel like a tribute band. He deserves more than that. The albums he has done with Journey are fantastic, should have had some of his songs in that set.

    Post 80's female AOR

You'll have to dig through these, but lots of good female fronted bands on these threads: http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=33577&hl=%2Bfemale+%2Bfronted http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=32718&hl=%2Bfemale+%2Bfronted&do=findComment&comment=700058

    SOTO - Divak

Sorry this pisses you off, I just don't care to hear this. If you're ever in North Carolina, I'd LOVE to talk you about this, face to face.

So you're letting others' opinions define your music choices? Not sure if any of these negative posts were made AFTER listening to the whole album. Weird to me, but if your free time is that scarce, then I guess you do what you've got to do. I know, and trust, the opinions of most of the members of this board. I also have about 4000 go to albums in my collection. Why waste my time on this shit? I know their opinions too but would ALWAYS make my own mind up. As would 99% of the folk who have posted saying its shit. You're one of the voices I trust, Glen. I would NEVER let anyone dictate my musical taste. Next to my wife and kids, music is high on the list. Again, I have, at least, 4,000 or so go to albums. I can live the rest of my life happily without hearing anything new. I'd rather spend my time with something I know and trust. I just don't feel the need to try and force something on myself. Sorry if this sounds like I'm pissed, I'm not at all. That gets lost in typing, as opposed to speaking. It's all good here.

I'm a big JSS fan, but I really have no desire to check this out after reading these posts. I have little free time as is, no use wasting it.

    The Throbs

A different style of rock that didn't really fit into any one category. I actually enjoy the album at times, nice for a change of pace.

Vain - Rolling with the Punches 2016

I'm always open to new Vain music, but not for that price. That said, I hope the cd does come out.
  15. Newer bands I really dig are Maragold and S.U.N.
