Nice tune. I've always liked Teramaze. I was reading that in the last 12 months they have sold more physical CDs than digital sales worldwide.
-
Yeah $36 for the CD and another $36 (US) for postage to Australia. That is seriously what is costs nowadays to have 1 CD posted to Australia.
-
Hey Geoff, any idea where I can purchase the CD? Have you got one yet? Shipping from the US seems to not be an option at the moment. Great find mate - loving this a lot!
-
It's a yes from me. Does this mean we should also have a poll on the inclusion of cassette/vinyl only releases? There are plenty of killer EPs and albums that were released on these formats that never had a CD release.
-
A real shame isn't it. Music is becoming inaccessible to those here in Australia who still like to buy CDs.
-
I have a friend in the US (Illinois) who regularly sends me bulk lots of postage stamps in these Ready Post envelopes for about US$4 - I'm wondering if CDs could be sent in these also, with or without cases. It would be a dramatic reduction in postage costs I would think. They are a 6" x 9" envelope and fit one CD in a jewel case very nicely.

I recently purchased the two new Eonian Records CDs - Rings of Saturn and Mad Anthony and was informed that it would cost US$57 to post these to Australia. Has anyone else experienced such enormous postage costs either as a buyer or seller? I knew that international prices had increased in recent times but honestly this is insane! I don't think I can afford to collect CDs anymore at this rate!

Agree Geoff, excellent album!

7 Wishes Music | Australia - My new Aussie music blog

It has been a while since I posted anything. I've got some interesting goodies so might get something new on there soon. -
The first track there 'Shinju' is pretty cool. The other two didn't grab me so much.

Forgotten Hard Rock Albums: Blue Tears - "Blue Tears" (1990)
JC_AOR replied to AlphaMale's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
Excellent album, it will never be forgotten by me. -
That 2nd clip reminds me of the Foo Fighters - not their music though, just the video clip. Not really my kinda music but it's well played and I think will certainly appeal to those who like Joe Bonamassa etc.

I love this band! It's hard not to agree with the Ratt and Motley Crue comparisons. Love the cover art too!
-
I have to admit after their first two excellent albums I lost touch with this band, so I really need to revisit them. That teaser really didn't seem like a teaser because it gives away nothing. Looking forward to checking out V regardless.

I've been listening to this one a lot this week. Highlights for me are 'Hollywood in Headlights' and 'Fallin' For You'. Excellent band!

Brilliant!! Not a single negative comment in this topic so far.

I was super lucky to know an awesome person called Doggy who sent this my way at no cost. A total legend and I am so grateful. Love the songs on this one. Great band! They have a 2 track tape as well which came out before the CD. ?

I used to get caught up in trying to classify all my music - but these days I find it easier to not bother. There's too much overlap between genres.
-
I would never buy this live disc, and as Geoff has said why not just listen to the original. But I tell you what, if this band was playing a local venue in my hometown I'd be super keen to go along and see them, even without some of the original members. Good on 'em for kicking on.
-
I prefer the second track from those two. Probably not a disc I will pick up.

ALL 4 1 (Brock/Phil/Berry/Starr) - The World's Best Hope
JC_AOR replied to Stefan's topic in AOR and Hard Rock
The album cover reminds me of Alias as well; and the band name reminds me of a mid-90s R&B group. However like everyone else, I read it as "All 41" The sample sounds ok... -
This one grew on me, I really like it now.
