  1. Rock of Ages for me. I can't argue with the top runners in Photograph or Too Late For Love. Foolin' shuld get more votes, I was deciding between that and Ages. I'm surprised Comin' Under Fire is doing so well. I never considered that a great tune. I'll have to whip it out right now.
  2. I voted for Let it go, I almost voted for Another hit and run and I feel bad for not voting for Heartbreak. I think I have 4 versions of Heartbreak and there is this one that just stands out (an extended version that has an alternatate ending) and I wish it was used for the album because that would be my favorite. Close one though. Good poll.
  3. Hallowed. I'm surprised this isn't more of a landslide, if this were a metal site instead of a rock site it would be.
  4. Four Winds wins for me on the strength of the song "On The Line" classic tune to me.
  5. aha! okay then. yep, great, great year for debut albums then. awesome poll
  6. D2 for me. Skid Row the only other competitor to that amazing album. I'll just go and rank em all since I like most of em and know all of em 1. DANGER DANGER- DANGER DANGER 2. SKID ROW- SKID ROW 3. SIGNAL- LOUD AND CLEAR 4. XYZ- XYZ 5. BABYLON A.D.- BABYLON A.D. 6. GIANT- LAST OF THE RUNAWAYS 7. EXTREME- EXTREME 8. VAIN- NO RESPECT 9. SHOTGUN MESSIAH- SHOTGUN MESSIAH 10. BADLANDS- BADLANDS 11. BAD ENGLISH- BAD ENGLISH 12. PRETTY BOY FLOYD- LEATHER BOYS W/ ELECTRIC TOYS 13. JUNKYARD- JUNKYARD 14. BLUE MURDER- BLUE MURDER 15. TORRA TORRA- SUPRISE ATTACK 16. TANGIER- FOUR WINDS 17. ENUFF Z' NUFF- ENUFF Z' NUFF 18. MR. BIG- MR. BIG 19. DANGEROUS TOYS- DANGEROUS TOYS 20. BANG TANGO- PSYCHO CAFE although now that I think of it, I'd have liked to see on this list Pink Cream 69 - S/T, Lillian Axe - Love and War, Leatherwolf - Street Ready, Treat - Organized Crime, Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood and Diving For Pearls - S/T. 1989 was definately one of the best years ever, if not the best.
  7. on both counts. wanted leven, voted goran.

  10. These guys have the Lep gang vocals all over this one. Most excellent release. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> which reminds me of a very similar sounding band: Pole Position - S/T. great album. sounds like Def Leppard meets Sargant Fury
  11. I've always thought the WUtN CD from Adams sounded just like def lep. Especially in 'The Will Never Be Another Tonight' and 'House Arrest'
  12. You can add the Wall of Silence and Romeo's Daughter S/T album sto that nice list.
  13. Thanks Nick. I know what you say is true, but until that day I will seek your quietly wept prayers in the night, trying desperately to grasp them if they should pass my padded window in the darkness. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What's this about a padded window? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am "kept" in a special place where there is no glass. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And the sporks have been filed down until they are nothing more than spoons. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spoons with eyes. I know they're watching me. They're not fooling anyone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The question is not whether you're being paranoid, but rather are you being paranoid enough? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What??? The androids are here? I knew they'd come for me. Where are they? Why don't I have a fork? How will I fend them off?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spoon out their forking eyeballs for starters. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For fork's sake mate, I'm well past that stage! I ate their eye balls as a starter ages ago and I'm awaiting their fallopian tubes for a forking main. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OMG look at all the quotes in this one!
  14. holy fucking shit! that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Rob Rock - Holy Hell Spectacular heavy melodic metal! damn I love this one.
