Skillet are Christian aren't they? They get a good balance

They're the good ones. The ones you can't tell either way. Anberlin are christian, but have never once made me cringe with their lyrics.

Got this one yesterday, and funnily enough the Firehouse one turned up as well, and I have to say its a bit of a let down and so is the Firehouse one, both for the same reason.

Its all done fantastically, but both albums sound almost identical to the originals. Yeah theres a bit here and there thats different, but I prefer bands to update the songs, and make them significantly different.

I dont mean This left feels right different, but I would have hoped for something more akin to the Warrant one from about 10 years ago, of when Crue did the 97 version of Shout at the devil.

With Strypers more heavyweight sound these days I had hoped for something more ballsy as he early albums were always my least favourite. Its like a best of but without any songs from the albums I like the most. And the two new songs .. nothing overly special with them, which once again is a surprise as they have not set a foot wrong since the reunion with pretty much every song being great. Maybe they are growers I suppose.

Concerning the Firehouse you mean Full Circle right. It's almost an insult saying they are too true to the originals...that cd blows! I don't get it either...they are so good live. Sound wise I mean as well...this cd was such a letdown.

Yeah, Howdy, can't say I'm with you on this one, mate. To me, the Stryper CD features well updated and heavier versions of their old songs - to me they all sound like improvements. The Firehouse disc, I thought, was a total waste of time and the new versions, one and all, are all weaker versions of the originals... and not as well produced as the originals either.
