Wow, really? Another David Reece project, hey? Getting a bit stupid, imo. He's like JSS in his prime, where 50% of the CDs released in a year had one dude on vocals. I also like this band and all their previous output, but hoping this doesn't just sound like another generic David Reece album. Based on the samples above, it still sounds like Wicked Sensation, which is a good thing. I'm quietly hopeful.

.......except the JSS stuff was good ;-)

Haha. Not all of it, though, when he was really churning them out every hour. Some of those Talisman and even Takara albums are pretty average. Soul Sirkus... sadly, a lot of it was. Axel Rudy Pell, Human Clay, Humanimal... I think you'd find a lot of it wasn't that good at all. ;)

Yeah takara and human clay were pretty weak.

i like most Talisman tho and still think the Soul SirkUS album is cool (lonely opinion I know).

His solo stuff is all excellent tho imo

Yeah, his solo stuff (and WET of course) is by far his best work.

The 2 W.E.T. are by far my favorite from JSS. Eyes is my second fav.

'Misery' is better. ;)

Pretty good disc. Patchy, but a few pretty cool moments which sometimes sounds like typical Wicked Sensation despite Reece's distinct vocals.

Very average..... like most of Reece's recent projects.

Tango Down- Identity Crisis is awesome and was my #2 of 2012

Soundclips:

Angel In Black

King Of The World

Misery

I much prefer Bangalore Choir's ''Angel In Black'' thought this might be a cover at first.......

... and this is a pet hate of mine. If I were a songwriter I would personally NEVER write a song with a title of a song that already existed; if I knew the song I just wrote was going to be inferior to the song already in existence. I just wouldn't do it.

So, to take that one step further, to write a song called 'Angel in black,' which is stupidly inferior to a little song of the same title by a band called Bangalore Choir... but then to get the vocalist of the original song to sing your crabby version of the song with the same title??? Madness!!! I don't understand it. You're basically forcing the listener to compare the two, and it makes the new song sound even worse than it probably is.

Anyway, rant over. There should be a worldwide registry of taken song titles. If you can't better what is already used, call your crappy song something else. ;)
