ANNOUNCEMENT!

DYNAZTY RELEASE THEIR NEW ALBUM “RENATUS” IN MARCH!

“Third time’s the charm” the old adage says. Could be. But the fourth is the fortune.
With their 4th outing “Renatus“, Dynazty starts their history anew.
Recorded and engineered at “Black lounge” and “The Abyss” studios in Pärlby, Sweden by Jonas Kjellgren(Scar Symmetry, Raubtier)and produced by Dynazty themselves, this new album will see Dynazty break new ground.
The first single “Starlight” will be released on the 17th of February followed by the album in march. These are the confirmed dates for the album so far:

- UK 31/3
- Germany & Finland 28/3
- Japan 26/3

Singer Nils Molin says about the album:
“After 4 years, 3 studio albums and shows on almost every continent of the globe we took the time in late 2012 to really figure out what we wanted this band to be in the future.
Updating ourselves both musically and sonically to a place where we felt that we wanted to be right now was paramount and once we started to write “Renatus” everything fell into place.
Heavier and faster-paced music with big arrangements built around soaring vocal melodies is the recipe for this album and talking about firsts, this is the first album with our new bass player and band member, Jonathan Olsson, the first to be produced by ourselves and the first to be released on Spinefarm.”

Song titles and samples I've heard indicate "HEAVY-IER, and I (personally) do not care for that.

These guys are great as they are, hope they didn't change too much, but that said they are a talented group, I'll hold off on getting too worried about a sound change until I hear it.

H.E.A.T. and now Dynazty....this spring looks to be needing me to save a few pennies!

I want to be elated over this news, and I guess a part of me is, but they are just so wishy washy, I wish they would do more songs in the vain of Hunger For Love, and New Sensation, thats the sound I like, and I hope they took Production classes because the Knock You Down disc they produced, that had to be completely re-mixed by Chris Laney, was fucking horrid, sorry just my opin, and im sure everyone on here is the exact opposite, but I like Dynazty, just think they have a horrible habit of being able to write top quality fillers, am waiting for a consistent and stable album out of them, then I will be happy.

The production on the euro version of knock you down is amazing - the jap version is rawer.

I have a feeling this will be closer to melodic metal but im still eager to hear it.

Yep. I thought about it when posting this. AOR/Hard Rock forum or Heavy Metal forum?

I went for the first one since the other threads 'bout Dynazty were posted there.

Nice chops in episode 3. From what I hear, it's hard to image this being the same band. But if it's melodic I'll probably love it.

Am hoping for big things but a bit of a shame there is no producer, always felt they needed someone to polish things up a bit to get the most out of the songs. I hope they prove me wrong and am keen to get a heavier album!

if this veers towards cheesy sounding melodic metal it will be awful.

If those 'chops' (is this the right word??) are included in great sounding choruses / verses etc it will be awesome.

wot Jeff said basically.

It's Ok bro, Knock you Down started that way, but Laney came in and made it listenable to the rest of us that enjoy bigger sounding production jobs, like Jeff says, it's hard to say if they will put any lead ins, Pre and regular choruses, etc.they are not known for following any steady pattern on their music.

This guy's right. Personally, for me the heavier the better... on one condition. They need the hooks to go with it. For every excellent song these guys have ever written there's at least three or four fillers in tow.

More consistency with these guys would be a treat.

Sorry doods, not bad songs as such, but just really average and, as the term suggests, they just sound like fillers to me. Solid hard rock songs to fill in the spaces between the songs which actually have hooks. ;)

I am wishy washy about them, I have to have songs that grab me right away, ie New Sensation, Hunger For Love, Land Of Broken Dreams, Dynazty to me always sound like their on the verge of breaking out, but no, I am not an all around love all their songs fan.
