Shattered Skies is a progressive metal band from Ireland/UK, formed in early 2011. That same year, the band released the critically acclaimed 'Reanimation' EP, which received rave reviews in publications such as Metal Hammer, Classic Rock Prog, and many more. Since then the band has gone on to perform at numerous festivals around Europe, including ProgPower in Holland, Bloodstock in the UK, 2 UK Techfests, and 3 visits to Euroblast in Germany. The band has played alongside names such as Machine Head, Dimmu Borgir, Alice Cooper, TesseracT, Scar Symmetry, SikTh, Animals as Leaders, Twelve Foot Ninja, The Algorithm, After the Burial and many more.

Their debut full-length album 'The World We Used to Know' is due for release on January 12th 2015 via HoldTight! PR. The debut single 'The End and the Rebirth', and its accompanying video was released on September 29th 2014, premiering on Classic Rock Prog's website.

Bernd...The album was released on Monday and they are sending copies out now (I recieved mine on Saturday and I think Nick has his also)

Yep - ordered mine Monday and it arrived today (Tuesday), good fast delivery. But...I know you are not into this Bernd, it looks like it may be a pro CDr.

It's very good. Some stellar tunes and great playing and Yes it's a CDr, but a pro pressed one in a digipack, so no real problems there. Give it a go I think you'll like it
