Naughty Boys - 'Destiny Calls'

Okay, so no one else is going to mention the giant purple polka dot bikini-clad elephant in the corner of the room giving Matt a blowjob, so I may as well.

Killer melodic hard rock disc, released back in September this year:

Hard to draw comparisons, but don't let the glammy kind of name fool you - these guys are solid melodic hard rock.

There's seriously no one else digging this CD?

Well, I can't speak for everybody, but no, I was not digging it, lol. C'mon, let's get back on track Geoff. I had such high hopes for you again after Heaven Below :)

"Killer" may have been a little over the top, but I still maintain it is a great CD. Didn't know they had another CD - would love to hear that too.

Okay, so I heard this today and despite my scathing attack in the First Spins thread, I do like it. I was a little harsh on it due to foul mood (caused by c*nts) and although I stand by everything I said, it's good stuff. The new disc is definitely a lot better but this is good, solid souless melodic hard rock. It has all the sincerity and passion of a frozen frog leg but you can't deny the songs are good.

I didn't get into this one the first time around, and after listening to a few of those tracks it still isn't doing anything for me unfortunately. Maybe with a different singer I'd have a more favorable opinion
