Always There For You by Stryper is not only my favorite Christian Rock song but one of my favorites ever. If you can't appreciate Michael Sweets soaring vocals on that one then you need to check your pulse.

Of course I love most of Styper's power ballads but I went in a different direction on this one. I'm not sure if it is technically a power ballad but I love Petra's "Looking through Rose Colored Stained Glass Windows."

Or Daniel Band's "I'm Sorry."

Petra - Prayer

That's the one that I just came to say. I love it.

Yup. Such a great song. See, I am a Christian, so the lyrics actually mean something to me, but the song itself is just so good that, even if you don't believe in what they're singing about, you still can't deny the music.

Hmmm, really? Let's see how it might look if someone did deny this:

Sappy, boring piano ballad with moronic christian lyrics. I don't mind some songs from this band, in spite of their terrible lyrics, but this is one song I do not like even a little bit. Even if Steel Panther were given this music track and asked to write some proper lyrics that actually mean something real... it would still be a weak song. That's how bad it is.

If you're going to sing stupid christian lyrics, at least try to hide it with louder music than a piano and some trumpets and shit. This way, everyone can hear so clearly how stupid you are.

Finished.

Oh, and hand to my lord and saviour jesus christ, 'All the nights' by HEAT is about 10,000 times better than this song, and we all know how popular that song was.

Anyway, to each their own.

Yeah, it's come to mean a lot to me over the past couple of years.

I could only really say Stryper.

Never been big on the Christian bands and Soldiers Under Command attack was my first taste of Stryper purchased purely on seeing the cover of the record :)

I like their ballads, more than their heavier stuff.

Oh man... Stryper ballads are some of the worst ballads ever. In my opinion, anyway. Except "Lady."

    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
