which is obviously not the same Shotgun Alli (judging by the name "Alley" and the fact that theyre Australian)

 

what are the requirements to get an EP or Album on the site?

thats what i thought, but then again....back in '94, it wasnt as easy to release indie demos on CD as it is now was it?

There are still "known" bands with albums missing from this site because no label has bothered releasing all their albums on CD yet!

A perfect example is Wrathchild.

There has still been no official CD release of their Trash Queens album!

maybe the site should be expanded to feature releases on all formats?

 

and when you click and album it tells you which formats it was released on.

 

couldnt hurt could it?

 

might answer a few questions for anyone looking for a wraithchild CD and wondering why they cant find one (might also stop people getting cruddy cassette to CD bootlegs thinking theyre official)

Would you wanna be the one to go through the current database, editing all the current albums on this site to include that info?

On top of that, the few of us that submit CDs right now, already take forever to enter anything due to time constraints, so I doubt non-CD albums would be submitted any time soon!

One of the hardest things for me was just sometimes saying, okay I've said all I can, probably time for me to drop it and move on.

 

Sometimes I still have trouble doing that, especially when I feel like fucking with certain individuals who take themselves too seriously.... (no not you!)

Sometimes it's an unwinnable situation, but you can minimize the damage by not posting about it over and over. Sometimes that just keeps reminding people as well as bringing other people into it who may never have noticed it in the first place...
