  1. Haven't posted here in a while, but had some good finds at a local CD shop yesterday that was probably one of my best days. I found: Dire Straits - S/T TARGET design Dire Straits - Communique TARGET design Def Leppard - Pyromania West Germany Orange Spirals I've never found anything exceptionally rare at this store before, so I was very excited to see these!
  2. It's a shame you disappeared. I was in Portland a couple weeks ago. We probably could have met up otherwise. It's a strange city you live in.

  3. I won House of Lords - World Upside Down from Selling on Adrenalin awhile back. Was a russian release. Oh, well, I bought it for a friend. The only thing I really didn't like was that it took almost a whole month to get it. So, it came after Christmas...urgh....
  4. I despise Velvet Revolver. They are an obomination.
  5. Damn. I knew his name looked familiar. Well, count me as one of the suckers who paid for a cd from him. I paid $30 for Smashed Gladys - Social Intercourse over a month ago. His seller name this time was Glamourbubble. Here's his complete address: Thomas Kerlyn 1331 Beacon Drive Port Charlotte, Florida 33952 I complained to Paypal about him and won the complaint. Unfortunetly, he only had $5 left in his account, so that was all Paypal was able to refund me. What a crock of shit. I thought if you paid for buyer protection, you were supposed to be refunded the whole amount. Anyway, I'm going back to Paypal to complain some more and let them know that he has used many different user accounts so maybe I can get my money back from one of them.....
  6. As with most of you, it came down to D2 and Skid Row. If it had been the second D2 album, I would have chosen that one in a heartbeat. But, had to go with Sebastian, as I think I like that one just a bit more....
  7. At a place called the Gray Whale CD exchange in Salt Lake City: Flotsam and Jetsam - High $8.99 The Wildhearts - Riff after Riff $8.99 - Having second thoughts on this one. Lita Ford - Out for Blood $5.99
  8. Wow. I had GNR picked, and then noticed Motley Crue, and then noticed DL. I had to go with DL, as Hysteria is still one of my all time fav's.....
  9. Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about it? I've never seen the original but will make sure I do now. I must admit I hate special effects and all that sort of fancy crap in movies generally (sorry Mr Davesworld)- especially futuristic or space movies... but I love when special effects are put to good use in stuff like Jurassic Park and I loved what they did with King Kong too. Everything looked awesome and authentic and I loved every second of it. But yeah, that's just me. The others I saw it with loved it too, and there were some buffs there. Interested to hear what you didn't like about it if that's cool. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For some reason, I just couldn't get into the story. That, and I didn't enjoy Jack Black's performance. I thought his performance was over the top, and his small bits of comedy just didn't work. I usually do enjoy good special effects, but I like a good story too. For some reason, I didn't like this one.
  10. Watched King Kong a couple days ago....I was disappointed. I liked the '79 version better....
  11. Oh.....I guess I'd better start keeping the ones I get too.......damn
  12. Nah, but I just saw the movie a week ago.....
  13. Ra - Duality The Honey's - Hot Day in Heaven - GREAT CD Heart - Passionworks Loudness - Lightning Strikes Sara Evans - Restless Ministry - House of Mole Alannah Myles Seven Year Bitch - Sick 'Em Rob Zombie - The Sinister Urge
