I'm not familiar with that CD-R release, must be something Kimmo has done on his own.

In other news there is also a new MASQUERAGE coming out later this year. Described as "significantly heavier" compared to Backstabber.

Wow, I thought that would sound awful and... oh, yeah... so, it does. Awful stuff, not that I'd expect otherwise.

I honestly don't know what to make of this. It vaguely reminds me of Queensryche mixed with something else I can't put my finger on. The vocals kind of have this Axl Rose thing going on in the background. Very strange stuff.

Axl... hmm, interesting comparison. To me personally it is much more related to bands like Sonata Arctica, To/Die/For, Avantasia, with a touch of Savatage and even some Jon Bon Jovi (Blaze of Glory circa) thrown in for flavor.

It is very diverse album spanning from fast crunchy melodic power metal, through hard-rocking tunes, to an acoustic ballad.

Other than that don't ask me what there doing they did a little video of them signing contract and it doesn't include John 5 so he's not really part of Motley he's a hired gun..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3iDklwv1PI&t=2s

    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
